Present Duties
The office works with multiple boards, councils and programs to oversee a variety of health and health-related professions. It protects Oregonians’ health and safety by ensuring that these professionals are trained and qualified to practice. The office tests people who apply for professional licenses, inspects facilities, responds to consumer complaints and disciplines practitioners who violate state requirements.
