State Fire Marshal, Department of the

Present Duties

The agency works with the Oregon fire service to educate Oregonians about the importance of fire safety, respond to hazardous materials incidents, and combat the wildfire crisis through a modernized response, defensible space, and education.  The state fire marshal has five divisions.
