FAQs

No. While most of the seminars at the conference are geared toward notaries who hold a current commission, the Notary Basics training will be held over the course of the two-day conference. New and re-applying notaries can attend this training. NOTE: The training is broken into one-hour intervals. All four training courses must be completed.

The maximum number of people attending the conference is set for 250. If you have missed the registration date and still wish to attend, please email us to ensure availability.

Please check your calendar prior to paying for the conference to ensure your attendance. Refunds will not be issued once payment is received.

The cost of the conference is for two days, including lunch both days and dinner on the first day.

The conference is being held at the Salem Convention Center, which is attached to the Grand Hotel. The hotel has set aside 50 rooms for folks attending the Conference. The fee for the conference does not include a room. Guests will make their own reservation. We will have a link soon for reserving rooms at The Grand Hotel.

If you are flying in from out of state, you may want to consider renting a car. The Conference is approximately 50 miles south of the Portland International Airport.

Parking is free for those staying at the Grand Hotel. Parking will be available at the conference center during conference hours. There is also parking available across the street from the conference center. See the link below for more information.
