These webinars cover the rules, regulations and best practices for Oregon Notaries Public. We explain how to properly identify the signer, what to record in your journal, and the requirements of an Oregon Notarial Certificate. There’ll even be a chance to practice notarizing! This training meets the education requirements for those applying for a commission.
Classes labeled "Current Notaries Only" discuss advanced topics and are not appropriate for those who are not experienced, commissioned notaries. They do not meet the training qualifications for a notary application and will not help you pass the exam. These advanced classes cover employee notary issues, notario and elder abuse fraud, journaling witnesses, challenging notarial certificates and electronic notarization, among other topics.
