Looking for a way to reach out to our troops? Consider sending a flag through the Secretary of State Flag Fund.
In 1969, the Oregon Legislature gave authority to the Secretary of State to provide Oregon State flags to Oregonians serving in the armed forces. For many years, the Legislature was unable to provide funding for the Oregon State Flag Fund. In 2011, Secretary of State Kate Brown teamed up with Sen. Betsy Johnson (D-Scappoose) and Rep. Sal Esquivel (R-Medford) to revive the State Flag Fund. Thanks to that successful effort, the fund has sufficient resources to provide flags to any Oregonian serving in the armed forces, as well as currently-serving members of the Oregon National Guard.
Use this form to request a flag for an Oregonian on active-duty serving in the armed forces.
