Mass Transit Redistricting
Page Content
ORS 267.090 requires the Secretary of State to establish the process for creating and approving revised Mass Transit Redistricting Maps. These maps are to be redrawn every 10 years following reapportionment. There are currently three Mass Transit Districts in Oregon. Members of the districts are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate.
In order to comply with ORS 267.090, the Secretary of State adopted
165-008-0150 Mass Transit District Reapportionment Process.
This rule outlines the process mass transit districts must use for drawing new districts following the census.
