Present Duties

The agency is responsible for licensing, registering, and regulating real estate brokers, principal real estate brokers, property managers, escrow agents, residential property wholesalers, real estate marketing organizations and membership campgrounds. It also regulates aspects of condominium filings, timeshare filings and manufactured dwelling subdivisions. The agency is managed by a real estate commissioner appointed by the governor. The commissioner is advised by the nine-person Real Estate Board. The agency serves over 31,000 licensees and registrants.
