Present Duties
The board regulates the practice of occupational therapy. They investigate complaints and take appropriate action; make and enforce laws and rules regarding occupational therapy practice, establish continuing education requirements, process applications and issue licenses and renewals; and collect fees and authorize disbursements of funds. The board includes five volunteer members: two occupational therapists, one occupational therapy assistant and two public members. Each member is appointed by the governor and may serve up to two four-year terms.
