Present Duties
The Oregon Health Authority (OHA) oversees a system of coordinated care organizations (CCOs) that serve most of the more than 1 million members of the Oregon Health Plan, Oregon’s Medicaid program. The 15 CCOs work with partners in all 36 Oregon counties to provide better care at lower cost.
OHA is the first health agency in the country to declare a statewide goal to eliminate health inequities, establishing a health system where all people in Oregon can reach their full health potential and well-being, without facing disadvantages due to their race, ethnicity, language, disability, immigration status, age, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, geography, or social class.
