(This letter is written on stationery branded “Cooperative Extension Work in Agriculture and Home Economics, State of Oregon, Corvallis”.) Dear Mr. Spitzbart 4 H summer school is wonderfull[sic]. I am having a very good time besides learning lots of things in our morning classes. Their[sic] are all sorts of things to keep us busy all of the time. In orchestra I play the piano, and yesterday afternoon I went down to the K.O.A.C. studios to try out for playing the piano on the radio. The radio men Mr. Morris and Mr. Hutton have not told any of us yet how we came out. Thank you ever so much for giving me a scholarship. I am having the time of my life down here, and I owe it all to you. Sincerely, Ida Lou Hagg Reedville, Oreg.
