Parking, Hours and Exterior Views


Metered parking is available in the parking lot on the Summer Street side of the building. The lot includes four 10 hour spaces, eight 4 hour spaces and two 30 minute spaces. One hour of meter time is $1.50. Two unmetered disabled parking spaces are also provided. Additional metered parking is available on Summer Street. The Archives cannot provide change for parking meters. Free one hour parking is available on D Street and in the neighborhood to the north of the building.


The reference room is open by appointment. To schedule an an in-person appointment contact us at 503-373-0701 (option 1) or​​. Appointments are available Monday – Friday, 8:15 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. (except state gov​ernment holidays​​).
