Where can I find new maps?
The Oregon Legislative website contains final maps, GIS data, and additional information for the public to access. State legislative maps for House and Senate districts will become effective on January 1, 2022. This is also when candidates can start filing to run for office. Maps for congressional districts are effective January 1, 2022; candidates can start filing for office on that same day.
When can candidates file to run for office?
The filing period for the 2022 Primary starts January 1, 2022 and ends March 8, 2022.
What is the residency requirement?
For districts with a residency requirement, candidates must establish residency in the district by January 1, 2022. US Congress does not have a residency requirement.
