To all whom it may concern:
Know ye that I S. J. McCormick, doing business in the City of Portland, State of Oregon, as a tradesman, have publicly adopted and publicly use and have publicly used for a considerable length of time in my business aforesaid in the City of Portland, the name or title of “Santa Claus’ Headquarters” and I claim the absolute and exclusive use of said name or title “Santa Claus Headquarters,” as my trade mark in my business aforesaid in the said City of Portland, Oregon under the act entitled and act “Of Trade and Stock Marks and Brands” approved Oct. 21st 1864, Statutes of Oregon, page 780, and all other laws of this State applicable thereto.
