The Vaults

Some records have different storage requirements than the standard paper records that make up most of the Archives holdings. Various types of audio and video tape, photographic prints and negatives, motion picture film, microfilm and other media have their own preservation needs.

Vaults with separate environmental conditions hold these special records. The vaults also feature compact, movable shelving units designed to use space more efficiently.
